Being willing to try really hard
December 17, 2013
“One thing that has allowed me to continually improve as a climber is trying routes or boulder problems that are harder than anything I have done before. A big part of this process is being willing to try really hard, to push myself to rise to the level of the goal I have chosen. There were times when I just had to take a big breath and believe that I could make the next move. I adopted the attitude that small holds felt easy. Mental shifts like this have allowed me to rise to a whole new level.”
